It’s a long standing tradition for confessional Lutherans in Europe (Expats and military personal) to meet for a Easter Retreat. You might have been a participant of some of these retreats. Despit the recent changes in the WELS Chaplaincy programm we are going to continue. This year we plan to celebrate Easter in Wangen im Allgäu. That is a small and beatiful town in Southern Germany just 20 km north of Lake Constance and the border to Switzerland and Austria. Wangen i.A. also is the home of „Diaspora Pfarramt“ of the WELS sister church in Germany (Evangelisch-Lutherische Freikirche). Pastor Jonas Schröter offers us to meet at his church center in Wangen i.A.
